Because the Sunday church service has been moved to the morning, we are able to bring Toby more often. (When it was in the evening, he was often napping.) We also had good fellowship during the lunch after church on the 12th. That was the Sunday when the out-of-town members came for the Lord’s Supper. Pray the believers continue to grow in love and unity. This Sunday, March 4th, is the next Lord’s Supper and fellowship lunch.

God is opening doors and blessing the existing work in many ways. Let’s praise the Lord together! There was a conference in Niš demonstrating a small group Bible study form called Community Bible Study. (The ladies in the Niš church have been using this Bible study for three years.) Believers from Niš, Leskovac, Vranje, Prokuplja, and other southern towns were there. Praise Him! The Baptist church in Moravica started a children’s ministry and are working with CEF workers Laslo and Livia up in the north. They will have their second Children’s Day and teachers’ workshop March 11th. Praise Him! In Podgorica, Montenegro, sisters Ivona and Dora finished the Bible study course that they received with their Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and have now started going to the Good News Club there. Praise Him! Believers in Zenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina completed the Teaching Children Effectively CEF training over the course of three weekends, and are starting a Good News Club in Zenica March 3rd and one in nearby Kakanj very soon. Praise the Lord!

Pray we keep our focus on Jesus, His Word, and His church. Pray we can meet more neighbors and spend time with them. Pray Jan and I both grow spiritually and have the time to read, study, and meditate on God’s Word. As we raise Toby, pray we have wisdom and patience from our Father who is wise and patient with us.

We pray you also will be renewed in your spirit, will know the God of endurance and encouragement better (Romans 15:5), and will see God’s mercy that is new every morning.

Blessings & Peace,
Ethan, Jan, & Toby
