Dear friends,

We are thankful for your prayers. It is reassuring that Jesus perpetually prays for all believers. “Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.” (Hebrews 7:25) As Christians, we must emulate our Christ and pray for each other. Ephesians 6:14-17 gives 6 physical representations of spiritual armor, but unfortunately verse 18 is often left out. “Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.” To omit this is like trying to make toast in an unplugged toaster. I admit that I do not persevere in prayer as I should. May we all commit to praying more. We also must pray for our leaders to seek the Lord’s guidance. Whether they know it or not, all leaders under the Lord. “A king’s heart is like streams of water in the LORD’s hand: He directs it wherever He chooses.” (Proverbs 21:1)

Last month was a mix of ups and downs. October 2nd was a great success, with a great time of baptism and fellowship, however the October 15th CBSI conference fell through, as no one who did not already know about this method of systematic Bible study was able to come. Toby, Ethan, and then Jan all had the stomach flu, but after a week of misery, we all recovered, and by the end of the month, we were able to finally visit some friends in Sofia, Bulgaria, whom we had been unsuccessfully trying to visit since June.

This month there are 4 CEF conferences:
1. November 5th in Subotica (northern Serbia, close to Hungary)
2. November 6th in Niš
3. November 12th in Sarajevo, Bosnia
4. November 13th in Podgorica, Montenegro

Pray for Darko Adamek and the preacher, Tommy Higle, are safe and healthy through all the travel and meetings.

Pray for us to have wisdom as we would like to visit our friends in Macedonia before winter comes and makes travel precarious.

Let us know if there is anything we can pray about for you.

Blessings & Peace,
Ethan, Jan, & Toby
